Private transfers from Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (Guanacaste Airport)
Guanacaste Airport, still widely known as Liberia airport, is about 11 km west of the town of Liberia in Costa Rica's north-west. It is the gateway to the Guanacaste coast: the Papagayo Peninsula and the Bahía Culebra resorts within the hour, Playa Hermosa and Playas del Coco a little closer, and Flamingo, Tamarindo and Nosara further south.
We run fixed-price transfers to the Papagayo Peninsula, and quote any address in Guanacaste and beyond, including Arenal and La Fortuna. Your driver is waiting as you walk out of arrivals, and one price covers the whole vehicle, whatever the traffic or the time of night.
Arriving at Liberia Airport: where to meet your driver
Guanacaste Airport has one passenger terminal, opened in 2012. After immigration and customs, walk out through the arrivals exit, where drivers and hotel representatives wait for their passengers. Your driver holds a sign with your name and walks you to the vehicle in the transport operators' car park. We send the driver's name and WhatsApp number before you fly.

Dry season or green season?
On Costa Rica's Pacific side the dry season runs from December to April, with March the hottest month, and that is when most flights land in Liberia; several routes from North America are seasonal. The rainy, or green, season runs from May to October. Transfers run all year, and we track every flight, so the pickup moves with any delay.
