Private transfer from Mykonos Airport to Mykonos Town & Beaches
Nothing on Mykonos is far from the airport. Mykonos Town, known locally as Chora, is 5 km away, and even the beaches on the far side of the island are within 20 minutes. The problem is getting a car at all. The island has only a few dozen licensed taxis, and when two or three flights land together in summer, the queue outside Mykonos Airport can take longer than the drive.
A pre-booked transfer removes that wait. Your driver is standing outside arrivals with your name, loads your luggage and takes you straight to your hotel, villa or beach club, for one fixed price per vehicle.

The drive from JMK to Mykonos Town & Beaches
From the airport, the roads fan out quickly. Mykonos Town is 10 minutes north-west; the south-coast beaches of Ornos, Psarou and Platis Gialos are 10 to 15 minutes south; Paradise, Super Paradise, Elia and Kalo Livadi are 15 to 20 minutes east along the south coast; and Agios Sostis and Ftelia in the north are 15 to 20 minutes away.
Island roads are narrow, winding and busy in July and August, full of quad bikes, scooters and delivery vans, and many villas sit at the end of steep concrete tracks. Our drivers know them all.
Meeting your driver at Mykonos Airport
Mykonos Airport has one small terminal. You'll usually walk or take a short bus ride from the plane, collect your bags in a single hall and step straight outside. In peak season that hall is crowded, so we make sure your driver is already there: they wait just outside the arrivals exit with a sign showing your name.

The whitewashed old town, Little Venice and the windmills. Cars stop at the edge of the pedestrian centre, and many hotels send a porter. About 10 minutes.
Ornos, Psarou and Platis Gialos
The south-coast beaches with the island's best-known beach clubs and resort hotels. 10–15 minutes.
Paradise, Elia and Kalo Livadi
The livelier and more remote beaches further east, with beach clubs and boutique resorts. 15–20 minutes.
Agios Stefanos and the north coast
Quieter bays on the north coast, including Houlakia and Agios Sostis, and the New Port for ferries. 10–20 minutes.
When to book your Mykonos Town & Beaches transfer
Mykonos's season runs from May to October, peaking from late June to early September, when the island's population swells many times over. Most hotels and beach clubs open around May and close in October. In peak weeks, pre-booking your transfer is less a luxury than a necessity.

- Pack a bag you can roll over cobbles: even with a porter, the last metres in Mykonos Town are on foot.
