When to Book and Peak Season

For the return journey, we recommend leaving your resort approximately 3 to 4 hours before your flight departure, depending on the resort distance. Cortina to VCE is typically 2h 30–3h; Val Gardena, Alta Badia, or Kronplatz to VCE are around 3h. Add time for check-in and security at VCE. We will confirm the exact pickup time when you book. Saturday changeover days in peak season can mean busier roads—we factor this in when advising pickup times.

Venice Airport Facilities and Location

Venice Marco Polo is located about 8 km north of Venice on the mainland (Tessera). The airport has a single terminal with arrivals and departures on different levels. Facilities include ATMs, currency exchange, shops, and cafés. If you have a long wait before your transfer or after a late arrival, there are seating areas and refreshments.
