The drive from AGP to Marbella & Puerto Banús
From the airport, your driver heads west along the coast. There are two routes: the free A-7 coastal road through Torremolinos, Benalmádena and Fuengirola, and the AP-7 toll motorway, which runs a little inland and is usually quicker and quieter. Tolls are included in your price, so your driver simply takes whichever is faster on the day.
The drive takes 45 to 55 minutes to central Marbella and 50 to 60 minutes to Puerto Banús. Summer weekends and the evening rush around Fuengirola are the slowest times.
Meeting your driver at Málaga Airport
Most flights into Málaga arrive at Terminal 3, with some using Terminal 2; both lead to the same arrivals area. After baggage reclaim, walk into the arrivals hall, where your driver waits holding a sign with your name.

When to book your Marbella & Puerto Banús transfer
The Costa del Sol is a year-round destination. July and August are the busiest months, with the heaviest coastal traffic and the busiest nights in Puerto Banús. Spring and autumn are the golf season, and mild winters make Marbella popular for longer stays.
