Ibiza Town (Eivissa) is the island's capital: the walled old town of Dalt Vila, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, rising above a harbour lined with superyachts, with the marinas of Botafoch and Ibiza Nueva across the bay. It is only 10 km from Ibiza Airport, a 15 to 20 minute drive.
The drive is easy; getting a car can be the hard part. On summer evenings the taxi queue outside arrivals can take an hour. The drive from IBZ to Ibiza Town & Marina Botafoch
From the airport, your driver takes the short motorway north-east towards Ibiza Town and joins the ring road around the city. For the old town and the port, the route follows the harbour front; for Marina Botafoch and Talamanca, it continues round the bay along the Paseo Marítimo.
The drive takes 15 to 20 minutes. In July and August, evening traffic around the port and Playa d'en Bossa can add a few minutes.

Ibiza Airport has one terminal. After baggage reclaim, go out into the arrivals hall, where your driver waits holding a sign with your name. Your car is parked separately from the taxi rank, so you won't join the queue.

Playa d'en Bossa
The beach and nightlife strip south of town, home to Ushuaïa and Hï Ibiza. About 10–15 minutes.
When to book your Ibiza Town & Marina Botafoch transfer
Ibiza's season runs from late May to early October, framed by the clubs' opening parties in late May and June and closing parties in late September and October. July and August are the busiest months, with long taxi queues at the airport, heavy traffic around Ibiza Town and Playa d'en Bossa, and the most expensive nights.
Out of season many beach clubs and some hotels close, but the old town and its restaurants stay open.
