Private transfer from Dubai Airport to Palm Jumeirah
Palm Jumeirah, the palm-shaped island off Dubai's coast, is home to some of the city's most famous resorts: Atlantis The Palm and Atlantis The Royal at the tip of the crescent, a string of luxury hotels along it, the villas of the fronds and the apartments of the trunk. It is about 39 km from Dubai International Airport, most of it along Sheikh Zayed Road.
A private transfer takes you from the arrivals hall to your hotel lobby or villa gate in an air-conditioned executive car or SUV, with Salik tolls included in one fixed price per vehicle. After a long-haul flight, and especially in the summer heat, it's the easiest start to a Dubai stay.

The drive from DXB to Palm Jumeirah
From the airport, your driver crosses Dubai Creek and heads south-west on Sheikh Zayed Road (E11), the city's main highway, past Downtown Dubai and the Burj Khalifa, Al Quoz and Al Barsha. At the Palm Jumeirah interchange the route turns towards the sea and onto the Palm's trunk, then continues through the tunnel under the lagoon to the crescent for Atlantis and the resorts on the island's outer edge.
The drive takes 30 to 45 minutes. Sheikh Zayed Road is busiest on weekday mornings and evenings, and the approach to the Palm can be slow in the evening rush and on weekend nights.
Meeting your driver at Dubai Airport
Emirates flights arrive at Terminal 3, most other international airlines at Terminal 1, and flydubai and some regional carriers at Terminal 2. After immigration and baggage reclaim, go through customs into the arrivals hall. Your driver waits there holding a sign with your name and walks you to the car park, a short walk from the arrivals exit.

When to book your Palm Jumeirah transfer
Dubai's season runs from October to April, when the weather is warm rather than scorching. December and January are the busiest months, with New Year's Eve fireworks over the Palm, the Dubai Shopping Festival and school holidays. From June to September daytime temperatures often pass 40°C, which makes a cool car waiting at the kerb more welcome than ever.
