Private transfers from Santorini (Thira) International Airport
Santorini's airport is on the island's flat east coast, near Kamari. The famous caldera villages are on the other side, perched on the cliffs: Fira about 15 minutes away, Imerovigli a little further, and Oia at the northern tip about half an hour's drive.
The island has only a small number of taxis and a busy public bus network that goes via Fira. A private transfer takes you directly to your village, and your driver will help you with your luggage to the point where your hotel's porter takes over.
Arriving at Santorini Airport: where to meet your driver
Santorini Airport's single terminal is small for the number of summer flights, and the arrivals area can be crowded at midday. After baggage reclaim, walk outside the terminal, where your driver waits at the arrivals exit holding a sign with your name. The car is parked a few steps away.
