Private transfers from Catania Fontanarossa Airport
Catania Fontanarossa is eastern Sicily's main airport, on the southern edge of Catania with Mount Etna on the skyline. It is the closest airport to Taormina, Syracuse and the baroque towns of the south-east, and the motorways from it run up and down the coast.
We run fixed-price transfers to Taormina, and quote any address in eastern Sicily: Giardini Naxos and Letojanni, Syracuse and the island of Ortigia, Noto and Ragusa, and hotels on the slopes of Etna. A car is especially useful here, where buses run to the main towns but not to most hotels, villas and farm stays.
Arriving at Catania Airport: where to meet your driver
Most flights use Terminal A, with arrivals on the ground floor. The road directly outside arrivals is closed to private cars, so your driver waits for you in the arrivals area with a sign showing your name and walks you to the car.

Etna and flight disruption
Mount Etna is one of the world's most active volcanoes, and when it erupts an ash cloud can close Catania Airport, usually for hours rather than days. Diverted flights land at Palermo, Trapani or Comiso. We track your flight, so ordinary delays cost nothing extra. If you land at another airport, message us straight away; under our policy that is a new booking, and we will help you arrange it.
