Private transfers from Malta International Airport
Malta International Airport is at Luqa, in the south of the island, and nothing on Malta is far from it: Valletta is about 15 minutes away, St Julian’s and Sliema about 20, and the Gozo ferry at Ċirkewwa, at the far northern tip, under an hour in normal traffic. The roads are busy, though, and traffic keeps to the left.
We run fixed-price transfers to St Julian’s, and quote any address on Malta: hotels in Valletta and Sliema, the resorts of Buġibba and Mellieħa, Mdina and the villages inland, and the ferry terminal for Gozo. Your driver waits in the Welcomers’ Hall, and the price covers the whole vehicle, so families and groups share it.
Arriving at Malta Airport: where to meet your driver
Malta International Airport has one terminal. Schengen and non-Schengen flights arrive through separate halls, and both lead into the Welcomers’ Hall, where your driver waits holding a sign with your name. From there it is a short walk to the car in the airport’s pick-up zone or the Park East car park, which is linked to the terminal by a tunnel.
