Private transfers from Queenstown Airport
Queenstown Airport is at Frankton, on the Frankton Arm of Lake Wakatipu, about 8 km from the town centre. It has one compact terminal for domestic and international flights, a 10pm curfew, and a famously scenic approach over the lake, between the mountains.
We run fixed-price transfers to the Queenstown town centre, about 15 minutes along Frankton Road, and quote any address in the region: Fernhill, Kelvin Heights, Jacks Point, Arrowtown, Glenorchy and Wānaka over the Crown Range. In winter we drive straight to Coronet Peak, The Remarkables and Cardrona when their roads are open. Tell us about skis, boards and golf bags and we size the vehicle to fit.
Arriving at Queenstown Airport: where to meet your driver
Queenstown Airport has one terminal. Domestic passengers collect bags from carousel one or two; international passengers clear passport control and biosecurity first. Your driver waits inside the terminal by the arrivals exit, holding a sign with your name, then walks you a minute to the car in the terminal car park, because the kerb outside is for immediate stops only.

Winter driving and the ski roads
New Zealand's official driving advice is to be ready for snow from June to August and to carry chains you know how to fit. Each ski area posts its road status and chain rules every morning, and Cardrona requires every vehicle on its mountain road to carry chains. When a ski road closes, nobody drives up until it reopens, and we will contact you about your transfer.
