The drive from DPS to Seminyak
From the airport, your driver heads north on the Ngurah Rai bypass and then Sunset Road, the main road running parallel to the coast behind Kuta and Legian, before turning towards the beach into Seminyak.
Traffic sets the pace more than distance does. Late morning and early evening are the busiest times, and the junctions around Seminyak can be slow. At quiet times the drive takes about 25 minutes; at the evening peak, 45 minutes or more.
Meeting your driver at Bali Airport
International flights arrive at the international terminal. After immigration (with your visa on arrival or e-VOA), baggage reclaim and customs, you walk out into a covered arrivals area lined with drivers holding signs. Your driver is among them with your name; we send the exact meeting point and their WhatsApp number before you fly.
You will be offered taxis and porters on the way out. A polite "no, thank you" is enough.

When to book your Seminyak transfer
Bali's dry season runs from about April to October and is the most popular time to visit, with July, August and the Christmas–New Year period the busiest. The wet season, from November to March, brings short, heavy tropical downpours, usually in the afternoon.
Nyepi, the Balinese Day of Silence, usually falls in March. For 24 hours the airport closes and no traffic is allowed on the roads, so plan to arrive before or after.
