Cabo San Lucas is the lively end of Los Cabos. The marina, Médano Beach, the rock arch of El Arco and the nightlife all sit at the very tip of the Baja California peninsula, 45 km from Los Cabos International Airport. The drive takes you the length of the Tourist Corridor, past the golf courses and luxury resorts between the two towns.

The drive from SJD to Cabo San Lucas
Leaving the airport, your driver heads south towards San José del Cabo, then west along the Tourist Corridor, the four-lane stretch of Highway 1 between San José and Cabo San Lucas. The Sea of Cortez is on your left most of the way, with the entrances to Palmilla, Querencia, Chileno Bay and Cabo del Sol along the route.
The drive takes 40 to 50 minutes. The Corridor is usually free-flowing; traffic is heavier in Cabo San Lucas itself, around the marina and downtown. For the Pacific-side resorts beyond El Arco, including Pedregal, Diamante and the hotels on the road to Todos Santos, add 10 to 15 minutes.
Meeting your driver at Los Cabos Airport
Los Cabos has two main terminals: most flights from the US and Canada use Terminal 2, while Terminal 1 handles domestic and some international flights. As in Cancún, arrivals pass through a hall of timeshare and transport sellers after customs. Walk straight through without stopping and out of the building.
Your driver waits outside the terminal in the pre-booked transportation area, holding a sign with your name. We send their name and WhatsApp number before you fly.

When to book your Cabo San Lucas transfer
Los Cabos is dry and sunny most of the year, and high season runs from November to April. Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year and spring break are the busiest periods. From December to March, humpback and grey whales pass close to shore.
Summer is hot and quieter. The eastern Pacific hurricane season runs from mid-May to November, and storms most often affect Baja from August to October.
