Private transfers from Reno-Tahoe International Airport
Reno-Tahoe International is about three miles south-east of downtown Reno and the closest major airport to Lake Tahoe. The lake straddles the Nevada-California line, and its towns are reached by three different roads: the Mount Rose Highway to Incline Village and the north-east shore, I-80 to Truckee and the north-west shore, and US-50 to South Lake Tahoe.
We run fixed-price transfers from RNO to Lake Tahoe and quote any address around it, from lakefront homes and casino hotels to the ski villages at Northstar, Palisades Tahoe and Heavenly. Your driver picks the right road for your address and the day's conditions. The price is for the whole vehicle and includes waiting time, so chain controls on a pass do not change what you pay.
Arriving at Reno-Tahoe Airport: where to meet your driver
Reno-Tahoe has one terminal with two concourses, B and C. Your driver meets you in baggage claim with a sign showing your name. All commercial pickups, including pre-booked cars and limousines, use the ground transportation loop outside Door D, north of baggage claim, so the car is a short walk away.

Chain controls on the Tahoe passes
Nevada and California set chain rules differently. On the Mount Rose Highway (SR 431), Kingsbury Grade (SR 207) and US-50 between Carson City and Glenbrook, Nevada allows only four-wheel or all-wheel drive vehicles with snow tyres, or vehicles with chains, while chain restrictions are in place. California uses three levels, from snow tyres required to chains on every vehicle. Your driver checks conditions before every winter trip.
