Private Airport Transfers in Fiji

Almost every international visitor to Fiji lands at Nadi International Airport, on the drier western side of Viti Levu. From there it is about 20 minutes to the resorts of Denarau Island and to Port Denarau Marina, where the ferries and day cruises leave for the Mamanuca and Yasawa islands. The Coral Coast resorts are an hour or more to the south along Queens Road, and the capital, Suva, is three hours or more away.

We run fixed-price private transfers from Nadi Airport to Denarau and quote any address on Viti Levu, including Lautoka, Natadola, Sigatoka and Pacific Harbour. Your driver meets you in arrivals with a name sign, tracks your flight and can take you straight to the marina for an island ferry. Child seats are fitted on request.

Fiji drives on the left. Queens Road follows the western and southern coasts of Viti Levu, from Lautoka past Nadi Airport and along the Coral Coast towards Suva, and inter-city buses on it stop at the airport. Airport taxis are yellow; in town, LT plates mark metered taxis and LH plates fixed-rate ones, so check before you set off. Most resorts can also arrange their own transfers.

Fiji has two seasons. May to October is the drier, slightly cooler winter; November to April is the hot, humid wet season, with short, heavy downpours. The official South Pacific cyclone season runs from 1 November to 30 April, and when a storm threatens, flights and island ferries can be suspended. If your plans change, message us; cancellation is free up to 48 hours before pickup.

Ferries and day cruises to the Mamanuca and Yasawa islands leave from Port Denarau Marina. Operators ask passengers to check in about 30 minutes before sailing and set luggage limits: South Sea Cruises, for example, allows one bag of up to 25 kg plus a 7 kg carry-on.
