Airport transfers in Cyprus

Pick your arrival airport to see every route, journey times and local arrival tips.

Private transfers across Cyprus

Cyprus is a small island, but its airports are not where most people stay. Larnaca Airport, the main gateway, is about 50 minutes from the beaches of Ayia Napa and Protaras in the east, and about an hour from Limassol, the business city and port on the south coast. There is no railway on the island, and the airport shuttles run to fixed stops on a timetable.

A private transfer takes you from the arrivals hall to your hotel, villa or office in one go, at a fixed price for the whole vehicle. Your driver tracks your flight, waits in arrivals with a name sign and loads the luggage once. We also quote rides to Nicosia, Lefkara, the Troodos mountains and Paphos, and pickups at Paphos Airport. All our routes run in the south of the island.

Driving in Cyprus

Cyprus is one of only three EU countries that drive on the left, a legacy of British rule. Motorways link the main towns of the south: the A3 runs from Larnaca Airport to Ayia Napa, the A5 and A1 link Larnaca with Limassol, the A1 also runs from Nicosia, and the A6 continues west from Limassol to Paphos.

The A3 and A6 cross the British Sovereign Base Areas of Dhekelia and Akrotiri without stops or checks. Our transfers stay in the south of the island and do not cross the Green Line, so you need no extra documents for the ride.

When to travel

The beach season runs from May to October, busiest in July and August, when Ayia Napa's nightlife is at its peak. Many resort hotels in the east cut their hours or close in winter. Limassol is a working city all year, and its Carnival, in the ten days before Orthodox Lent, is one of the island's biggest festivals; in 2027 it builds up to Green Monday on 15 March.

Getting around without a car

Cyprus has had no railway since the early 1950s, so public transport means buses. Intercity coaches link the main towns, and shared airport shuttles run from Larnaca to Nicosia, Limassol, Ayia Napa and Protaras on fixed timetables. They work well for light travellers; for families, groups and late arrivals, a private car is usually simpler.

Cyprus airport transfers: your questions

Do I need to drive on the left in Cyprus?

Only if you rent a car: Cyprus drives on the left. With a transfer, your driver handles the roads and you go straight from arrivals to your door.

How long is the transfer from Larnaca Airport to Ayia Napa?

About 50 minutes on the A3 motorway. See our Larnaca Airport to Ayia Napa transfer.

Do your transfers cross into the north of Cyprus?

No. Our routes run in the south of the island, between Larnaca and Paphos airports and the resorts and cities of the south. They do not cross the Green Line.

Can you collect us from Paphos Airport?

Yes. Enter Paphos Airport as your pickup and your destination in the form, and we will quote the route. The A6 motorway links Paphos with Limassol.
